Sakura Dance
This is another effect inspired by Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. In this piece, I focused on creating a refined visual result using relatively simple materials, while also practicing my control over the balance of grayscale saturation and the overall rhythm of the effect.

"The sakura blossoms will soon fall. If you cannot return home, at least allow this dance to console you."

Breakdown

01
Particle systems
The particle in this effect is very simple, they mostly serve the purpose of spawning the shaders and being used as a tool to access the parameters from the shader to create a perfect timing. For example, almost every emiiter has a dynamic parameter module.
02
Shaders
As I mentioned earlier, the main goal of this practice is to use simple material to create a refined effect. So I only have 4 master material and every particle is using the instances from one of these 4 master material.

Animation And Blueprints
Animation notifies were used to combine the animation and the effects, and the animation montage was used to bring those animation sequences together. I also made some custom blueprints that allowed me to have a more precise control over the overall behavior of the effect in game.
